eartwood was started from a desire to understand the art of carpentry, and explore the journey from apprentice to craftsman. We understand the historical significance of the buildings that surround us, and constantly strive to implement old techniques in new applications.
Our scope of work includes historical restoration projects comprising of window sash and door fabrication, to custom moldings and coffered ceilings. We also partner with high-end designers and architects to fabricate and install custom millwork and cabinetry.
Above all, we dedicate to serve the community that serves us, and hope that our proficiency and creative ingenuity leave a lasting impact on even the most modest of jobs.
"The Heartwood team are detailed craftsmen with a truly unique approach to carpentry. They built a large, custom outdoor table and sliding barn door for us that far exceeded our expectations -- using design and 150+ year old reclaimed materials to tell a story that linked our family to the pieces they built. We were expecting quality but these guys take it to a whole other level."

"Austin Scottish Rite Theater has benefited from Heartwood's expertise for numerous restoration and reproduction projects. Ben and Devon are amazing craftsmen whose attention to detail, safety, and historic appropriateness is unsurpassed. They're also very communicative and friendly. I would trust them with any project, both in terms of craftsmanship and business ethics."

"Ben is very personable and did a fantastic job bringing my idea for a reading bench to life. He was able to make the bench without using any screws and completed the project with a great attention to detail. Ben kept us updated with pics throughout the projects as well. I'll definitely be using Ben for any future projects. Highly recommended!"
